Seeing the Light & Shadows While Sheltered At Home

October 23, 2020

Sunlight hits a vase of colorful flowers sitting on a table.
Two orchids in a wooden vase on a table.

As a visual artist, the long hours spent inside our home during Covid-19 sheltering in place, provided the opportunity to experience the changing light of the day. A still life I might have missed while running around on a ‘normal’ day becomes a striking image when noticed while reading in the living room during the late afternoon.
