Easter 2020 is different. On this special day I usually like to go to the park, but this time we don’t have plans to go Easter egg hunting there!!?. Today I was cooking lunch. I was looking out my window. On the street were a police car and fire truck with the Easter bunny driving! The kids were watching at the window. Nobody was on the street because everything is different. On Sunday we will be at home painting Easter eggs & cooking food!
My boys are excited about Father’s Day. Juan bought a cap for his daddy, Beni bought an electronic shaver for him, and I bought his favorite chocolate cake. But this year, we had to cook breakfast for him. We had ham, bacon, eggs, fresh bread, hash browns, and orange juice. For dinner Beni cooked on the barbecue. We had salad, mashed potatoes, and steak. The celebration in the house was fun too!
On the Fourth of July, the beaches and parks are closed because we are in a difficult time. My boys love swimming, but we don’t have a pool. For now, the only option is the river. We went to the Russian River and the weather was perfect. The boys have energy. We love driving to Lake Mendocino and our favorite spot at the river is close by. Nobody was there except my family. We spent the day in a beautiful place.
It was really fun for Mommy (me) because I didn’t have to cook. I only had to prepare sandwiches at the river. My husband and I sat in the shade and watched the kids play in the water. I sat in my chair in the water for two hours. All of us also walked and explored the area.
