This isn’t 2019.

July 29, 2020

I sit and stare out my window
the world sits still
quiet, calm and peace
A few more weeks, we’ll be alright
Stay at home
Quarantine

Two or three, maybe it was four…
weeks go by
and there’s no more peace
Fires, riots and people in the streets
Stay at home
Quarantine

100 days until we’ll know our fate,
Until then it’s all at stake
Confusion and lies, mask or no mask?
Stay at home
Quarantine
This isn’t 2019.
