As a black parent, this period has been not just about civil unrest. I’ve worked with other Black parents in Natomas to address issues for parents. Today my daughter & I watched John Lewis’s services & him taking the final trip over the Edmond Pettus Bridge. I talked to her about Good Trouble & John Lewis then & now. I am glad we are home now. I don’t believe the school staff would have been ready to address this unrest.
