COVID-19 has affected many aspects of our lives, but the hardest by far has been watching my child struggle with the interruption of classmates and friends. She cries and screams and can’t control the emotional roller coaster that this has brought on. It hurts in a way I can’t describe that I can’t completely erase the pain and sadness. But there is hope! We have joined the Girl Scouts community and there is light coming from her that was stripped away when she lost contact with her friends! So in the wise words of Dory… just keep swimming!
