Alone at Glacier Point

June 17, 2020

A man, woman and three children standing in front of a mountain range on a clear, sunny day.
We’ve taken social distancing pretty seriously, but we’ve also decided to make the best of this weird time. As soon as the park reopened, we reserved a pass to visit Yosemite. To our surprise we were able to experience Glacier Point alone, in the middle of June! It was an incredible experience. We were able to enjoy the park like we never imagined. We saw so many animals we’d never seen in the park before, a coyote, snakes, a yellow bellied marmot, our children even saw their first bear. It was an absolute treat to be able to get out of our new normal day-to-day and make an incredible memory that I’m sure we’ll cherish forever.
