Stay Puft Marshmallow Man with mask

May 30, 2020

At the time of this photo, it was two weeks into the lockdown. We didn’t know much about COVID-19 or how it spread, so almost everything was closed and we were totally quarantined. Daycares were closed and it was a weekday. It was my turn to take care of my three year old while my husband worked at home. Parks were closed, and I had already taken my daughter on a million walks around our neighborhood. We drove to another nearby neighborhood to walk there instead. While walking, we noticed teddy bears in the windows of some houses. I had seen on Facebook that people were putting bears in windows so children could play “Going on a Bear Hunt” while taking walks. We also stumbled across this Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in someone’s yard, wearing a mask.
