Since the California governor announced the “stay-at-home” order, I have realized how I am so blessed and thankful. Without having to go shopping crazily, I was able to get extra toilet paper in my cabinet and a lot of frozen food in my fridge. My daughters are old enough to take care of themselves, and my husband works from home. Most of all, I am happy that my family is safe. I am grateful with all these things, and these make me feel relieved and calm.
On the other hand, I am afraid that this situation will be longer. Many people may not have essential items at home. Many parents may have a hard time in taking care of their younger kids as they don’t go to school. I have heard that many workers lost their jobs, which is hurting. Some people are infected with virus and have a lot of pain. All these things are frustrating and make me sad and worried.
Hopefully, this devastating pandemic will be over soon, and everyone will not be scared anymore and be safe.
