The beast will sleep once more

April 1, 2020

So it is written
the beast has awakened
It’s foreboding shadow looms over the land
Make haste about your mundane scurrying
for you know not where it lies
It swoops without warning
Silent as the night is black

Beware your fellow man
He bringeth death as he speaks
alerting the beast to your presence
Cover your dear ones in the shelter of your distance
Shutout the world around you now
Be patient and still

The dark won’t last forever, my child
The dawn will come again
And the beast will sleep once more
